Stopped by for coffee and liked the relaxed atmosphere right away. There was plenty of seating, and it felt like a good place to sit and unwind for a bit. The coffee was enjoyable, and the pastry I picked up was fresh. Overall, it's a cozy local spot that makes for an easy and pleasant coffee break.

Paint Rock felt like a tale of two coffee shops. On one side, the atmosphere was genuinely enjoyable. The space was comfortable, the noise level stayed low, the music was not overpowering, and it was easy to sit and actually have a conversation with the people I was with. I also had a blueberry muffin, and it was very good. That part of the experience was easy to enjoy. The bigger issue for me was the coffee itself. First, I do not like that there is no clear pricing on the coffee drinks. That already makes the ordering experience feel off. But even beyond that, the coffee was extremely bad. I ordered one drink off their specialty menu and also made my own custom drink, both 16 oz, and me and my guest, did not even finish either one of them, in fact we didn't even finish 25% of them and threw the rest away. That is what makes this place frustrating. The reviews talking about the atmosphere are right. It is a good place to sit down and have a conversation. But the reviews questioning the coffee quality are right too. I would echo that completely. So for me, Paint Rock is a great place to meet and talk, but not a place I would go to enjoy the coffee.

Food=Awful Coffee=Disgrace Customer service=what a joke. We’re in Amarillo y’all, where small business thrive off of service. And it’ll be sad to see this place go down the drain due the simple missing of customer service. The guy with long hair literally just stood there and stared at us not one word. Until I finally said “uhh hello?” My coffee was half empty literally. Lol. Learning how to go control foam will be your biggest accomplishment. My burrito was full of unseasoned dry eggs. With bottles of picante sauce as salsa. Will not be returning.

You MUST frequent this beautiful and outstanding coffee shop! We got the Girl Scout mint mocha, strawberry smoothly, lemon blueberry muffin and cowboy cookie. Everything was delicious and the staff was phenomenal.
